Spotify has just updated the beta version of its Android app bringing it to version 3.1 and introducing important changes. I am talking about all the features already present in the iOS version. They included the new Now start page, audio/video shows, news and the functionality Running, dedicated to all those who use their smartphone as a travel companion and who wish to pull over a good background music training.
Unfortunately like the iOS version, these features are only available in Germany, Sweden, the UK, and the US at this time. It must be underlined that the application is now identical to its iOS counterpart, then the activation of the new features could occur at any time on server side so you might have all the new features as soon as they become available. link from which you can download the APK file. Download the file to your Android device, allow installation from unknown sources in your security settings, and then open the .apk file to install.
